CEIT's TOP NEWS STORY OF THE MONTH: Engr. Ronosa passes Electronics Eng'g. Board; first Electronics Engineer from NORMISIST Engr. Ronosa S. Alcazar became the first Electronics Engineer from NORMISIST after passing the October 2008 Electronics Engineering Board Examination given by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC). Engr. Alcazar graduated with a BSECE degree from NORMISIST last April 2008. She pursued review classes in Cebu prior to the October 24-25, 2008 examination. While Engr. Ronosa did not belong to the first batch of graduates from NORMISIST, she broke all barriers right her first attempt in the board examination to become the first Electronics Engineer from the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT). CEIT forms Parents and Faculty Association The College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT), led by its OIC- Dean Engr. Alexander T. Demetillo, organized and elected the officers of the CEIT Parents and Faculty Association (CEITPFA) during their 1st Assembly meeting last August 2008 at the Sanchez Gymnasium in NORMISIST. The 1st Assembly meeting and the election of the CEITPFA officers marked the beginning of establishing a collaborative effort between the parents and the faculty in the pursuit of excellence in the College, especially for its students and for NORMISIST as a whole.
BSGE Students Excel in GE Stat Quiz Arthur Amora and Rejen Albores made it again and grabbed 1st and 2nd place respectively in the recent Philippine Stat Quiz (PSQ) regional eliminations held in Butuan City Hall, Doongan, Butuan City last November 13, 2008. Arthur Amora will be the representative for Caraga Region in the 17th PSQ national finals that will be held on Dec. 4 in Metro Manila. MORE NEWS: |
